Why Is death “Gain” For The Follower Of Christ ?…
Some Reasons are…
1.HIS PROVISION FOR YOU;
“I go to prepare a place for you… that where I am, there you may be also.”-{John 14:2-3}
2. DEATH IS THE GATEWAY TO INSTANTANEOUS BEING WITH HIM;
“Absent From The Body Present With The LORD.” -{2 Cor 5;8}
3.THE SON’S DESIRE;
“Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.”-{John 17:24}
4. HEAVEN WILL BE A PLACE LAVISHED WITH KINDNESS;
“So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus. “-{Eph 2:7}
5. TENDERNESS AND DELIVERANCE;
“and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.”-{Rev 21:4}
6. TRUE JOY AND PLEASURE;
“…the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.” -{Psalm 16:11}
7. WORSHIP HIM THE GOAL;
” Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever! “-{Rev 5:13}
“… But I am hard-pressed from both directions, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for that is very much better.”- {Phil 1:23}
The Best Is Yet To Come… Why? To “…be with Christ Is very much better.”
