“The essence of saving faith is taking God at His Word, no matter how difficult it may seem. God’s promise to Abraham was beyond all reason and human experience, but Abraham believed it. This should be our example with regard to the promises that are yet to be fulfilled.”-{Morris}
“POWER,” – “Able”-{Dunatos}. He has the ability to do it! “IS ANYTHING too difficult for the LORD?”-{Gen 18:14.}; “One thing God has spoken, two things I have heard: “Power belongs to you, God, and with You, Lord, is unfailing love.” -{Psalm 62;11-12}.
” Who is like you, Lord God Almighty? You, Lord, are mighty, and your faithfulness surrounds you. You rule over the surging sea; when its waves mount up, you still them. You crushed Rahab like one of the slain; with Your strong arm you scattered your enemies. The heavens are Yours, and Yours also the earth; You founded the world and all that is in it.”-{Ps 89:8-11}.
“Ah, Sovereign Lord, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for You.” -{Jer 32:17}.
“Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.”-{Rev 4:11}.

1.HIS CREATIVE POWER;
“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”-{Gen 1:1}; “ For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.”-{Col 1:16}
2. HIS SUSTAINING POWER –
“And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholding all things by the word of His power.” -{Heb 1:3}; “…He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. “- {Col 1:17}
3. HIS REDEEMING POWER –
“But now, this is what the Lord says— He who created you, Jacob, He who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are Mine.“- {Isaiah 43:1}; “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace”-{Eph 1:17}; ” Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” -{Gal 3:13};
“ For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. “-{1 Peter 1;18-19}. “…who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.”-{Titus 2:14}.
“And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because You were slain, and with your blood You purchased,{Redeemed,} for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.“-{Rev 5:9}
” This is what the LORD says— Israel’s King and Redeemer, the LORD Almighty: I am the first and I am the last; apart from Me there is no God. “-{Isaiah 44:6}
“Our Redeemer—the LORD Almighty is His name— is the Holy One of Israel.”-{Isaiah 47;4}
” But God will redeem me from the realm of the dead; He will surely take me to Himself. ” -{Psalm 49:15}
“just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”-{Matthew 20:28}
“Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. “-{Rom 8:23}
“And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption “-{Eph 4:30}.
His redeeming power to free from sin and to liberty through the LORD Jesus He has redeemed us, purchased us with His precious powerful blood from a life of spiritual slavery to one of freedom and newness of life “in Christ.”
4. HIS PROTECTIVE POWER –
to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” -{1 Peter 1:4-5}. We have an inheritance that can never be taken from us, we can’t lose it, for God Himself has Promised to reserve and to protect our souls.
“Kept {Protected} by the POWER of God “-{1 Peter 1:5}. It is a military term to protect, keep guard. We are not kept from troubles but our soul’s are kept secure, eternally secure! And the One who keeps, protects, guards them is God Himself! Kept by the “POWER of God.” PROTECTIVE POWER! Think on that!
“… And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”- {Rom 8:31-39 NLT}. Neither the Power of Hell, nor power in the sky or on earth can sever us from the Love of God! Such is The LOVING PROTECTIVE POWER Of God that Keeps us!
5. HIS RESURRECTION POWER.
” More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ, and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith, that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death; “- {Phil 3:8-10}.
Resurrection Power to CANCEL All my sins – ” For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with Him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead. You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. ” -{Col 2;12-14}
Resurrection Power to Live NEW LIVES- “For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives. “-{Rom 6:4 NLT}
Resurrection Power to live LIVES OF LOVE; – “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”– {John 13:34-35}
Resurrection Power to Live FREE from CONDEMNATION.– “Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.“- {Rom 8:1-2}
Resurrection Power to Have a LIVING HOPE and the Ability to Praise God. –“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, “-{1 Peter 1:3}
Resurrection Power lived to live Godly – “seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.” -{2 Peter 1:3-4}
Resurrection Power over death – “So also is the resurrection of the dead.It is sown a perishable body, it is raised an imperishable body;it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living soul.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual. “ -{1 Cor 15;42-46}. Note the Phrases, the comparison, “Sown in” and “Raised in.”
6. HIS SAVING POWER;
“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” -{1 Cor 1:18}. There is a message, the Gospel, “Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance : that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve.”-{1 Cor 15:1-4}. There is a SAVING Message from God that points to the LORD Jesus. There are two responses, one of rejection of His message and one of submission to Him and His message. One leads to eternal destruction, the other one to eternal life with Christ. The cross is foolish to one, to the other it is the POWER of God TO SAVE from the penalty of sin,{Read Rom 6;23}; the power of satan,{Read Eph 2:1-3}; the wrath of God;{Read Rom 1;18}…to a New relationship with God through Jesus Christ. -{Read Romans 5:1-2}. A New Family {Read 1 John 3:1-2}; a New power to live that life.{Read 2 Peter 1:3-4}!
“For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes–the Jew first and also the Gentile. “-{Romans 1:16 NLT}
“Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of Christ.”-{Rom 10:17}
Power, belongs to the LORD. Praise Him, Look To Him, submit and trust Him. For in Him you find rest for your soul and an abiding friendship for eternity of Him who loves you and gave Himself up for you.-{Read Gal 2:20};
Memorize and meditate upon a verse from the above passages, and incorporate into your prayers to Praise Him for it. Thank Him. He, though being all powerful, is kind, true, righteous, loving and empathetic towards the souls of people that He should send His Son to redeem us and give us new power – RESURRECTION POWER, to experience, and live Godly lives for His honor. -{Read Phil 3:10; 2 Peter 1:3-4}
PRAYER TO KNOW HIS POWER;
“ I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.“- {Eph 1:18-22}.
Paul prays that they may Know experientially, intimately, personally what they have In Christ and that includes His Resurrected POWER .
This is a good prayer to prayer for yourself and others. Put your name or that of the person you are praying for in place of “your…you…us.”

A. The HOPE of His calling…
B. The RICHES of His Inheritance in His people…
C- The Surpassing Greatness of His POWER towards us who believe!!!
His Power is seen in His Creative, Sustaining, Redeeming, Protective, Resurrection, Saving Power. With such POWER He is able to give PROMISES and Keep All of them.
