He Promises Security.

Security, we want to not only feel safe, but be safe. Safe in our homes, so what do we do? We have doors with locks, bolts on them, we may have security devices, alarms to protect our homes. We put our money in a bank or a safe for security, to protect it. God wants His people to know He has SECURED them and their future! They are in SAFE Hands! That”s His Promise!

“…and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.”-{John 10:28-30}.

“…who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.“-{1 Peter 1:5}. Our salvation is secure. Our eternal safety is guaranteed by Him who promises to keep our soul safe and secure. We cannot lose what He has! He has saved us and secured our souls for safekeeping! We are “kept by the power of God!”

The evil one cannot have me, death cannot have me because God has me!

“For if, when we were enemies of God, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life! “-{Rom 5:10}

“Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”-{Heb 7:25}

“In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise,”– {Eph 1:13}. Our salvation is protected, guaranteed by the “seal” which speaks of authority, ownership, belonging to Him because He has placed His “seal” the Holy Spirit upon our soul! Note the name and promise, “…sealed with the Holy Spirit of PROMISE!”  Owned by Him, Secured by Him and Secure in HIM! He promises!

“…for I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day.”- {2 Tim 1:12}. Paul’s confidence was not in himself or anyone else to sustain and secure his soul but in the LORD! His keeping, not mine is the security we rest in and revel in.

He is my and your SECURITY,“In Christ!” … “being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”-{Phil 1:6}. Eternal security guaranteed by Him who died and arose and is seated as Sovereign King, who has made promises, and has the power and integrity to keep all He has promised! He will get us Home safely to the Father’s House, “If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.” -{John 14:3}.”And He said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.”-{Luke 23:43}; “we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord .”- {2 Cor 5:8}; “… Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me,”-{John 17:24}. He has promised security, eternal security and as His child, His follower you can rest in His promise. Safe and Secure- eternally so! Paul wrote “you are Complete in HIM”-{Col 2:10}. The word “complete” refers to “no deficiency.” There is “No Deficiency “in our salvation- {v11-13a;} “No Deficiency” in our Forgiveness – {v 13b-14;}. “No Deficiency” in our Savior -{v 15!}

Complete salvation, Complete Forgiveness, Complete Savior- and you are “Complete in Him”- “No Deficiency!”

Can a believer lose their salvation? Let me ask you a question? “Can you lose God? Can He go missing, and no longer be found, vanished, ka-put, no more, He is just gone, no longer exists?” No! I can no more lose my salvation than God no longer exists! As long as God is…and He is eternal,…my soul as is yours, is safe and eternally secure with Him to all who have repented towards God- turned from self rule to Him and placed our trust in the Lord Jesus to be our Master and save us from sins’ penalty and consequences eternally and save us and bring us into a right and eternal love relationship with God through His sufficient work! As Noah was “safe and secure” in the ark, so our soul’s are safe and secure “in Christ.” Why? Because He promised! GOD CANNOT LIE! “…in the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised long ages ago,”-{Titus 1:2}.

“Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”-{Heb 7:25}. How long is He able to save for? Till you your next sin? Till your next stumble? Till the end of the minute, hour, day, week, year, your life? Until someone says so? Until you “feel” so? No! He says “FOREVER!!” How long is that? Forever and ever, as long as God is!

Neither the sayings, opinions of others, sin, nor your feelings have the ultimate authority. He does. He is not dependent on someone or something to help lift Him up and support His Work and Word. He has PROMISED to “save forever” who?  “…those who draw near to God through Him.” And so it will be, because God is true and faithful!

He has never broken A promise and He will not begin with you!

Safe and Secure In Him and because of Him. I can celebrate Him! My eternal security is not dependent upon my performance but on His who said “It is finished- paid in full!” -{John 19:30}. His performance the Father accepted. The Proof? He RAISED Him from the dead!

“Protected by… “ whose power? Mine? Yours? No! But “… by the Power of God!” Wonderful, keeping power of Him who created the heavens and earth and upholds all things by the Power of His Word, it is Him who keeps and will keep me forever and ever, without end!-{Read Gen 1:1; Heb 1:3}. He made a promise and He keeps all His promises! So often the problem is we take our eyes of faith off Him and His Work and Word, and look to ourselves, our works, our feelings, and the opinions of others and we are flooded with doubt, and why not? For we are looking and listening in the wrong place. Look away to Him from all else and take Him at His Word, your wonderful forever Savior!

Safe and Secure  because of Him and in Him!

“Kept by the Power of God.”

That’s His Promise To You!
