Roman 8;1 begins with No condemnation in Christ... and ends with no separation from His love! In between is the Ministry of the Holy Spirit. A Good study is to read Romans 8 and know what it says about His ministry to and on behalf of the believers. The word,”For,” is mentioned 17 times and shows the conclusion. Another good study. Romans 8 is a great source of comfort and assurance for the believer in times of stress. Seeing God’s greatness and seeing His provision for the child of God!

Note some of His promises for believers. His promises for you!

  • You have God as your Father!

For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.  For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”   – v 14-15

  • You Are A Child Of God

 “The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God…”- v 16

  • You are joint-heirs with Christ

“and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ,    “- v 17

  • You will be glorified with Christ

“if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.” – v19

  • You have The Holy Spirit to Assist you

“In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;’ -v 26

  • God is personally undertaking that every event in your life is being worked out for good;

” And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. “- v 28

  • You are being Changed Into The Image of the Lord Jesus Christ

”   For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;”- v29

  • Your Salvation Is Eternally Secure!

“and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.”- v 30

  • God is for you to enable you!

” What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?  He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies;  who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  Just as it is written,

For Your sake we are being put to death all day long;
We were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.“- v 31-37

  •  His love for you is Unshakable, Unbreakable, Unending!

For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  “- v38-39
