He Promises To Save –
“Save?” What does that mean? “Salvation,” means to deliver from danger or suffering. Saved from what? The word “saved” means to deliver or protect. The word carries the idea of victory, health preservation. In the Scripture it is used to speak of both temporal and eternal deliverance from danger!
Three Dangers;
There are Three Dangers each person faces and must be eternally delivered and rescued from and protected, namely…
1.- The Penalty & Consequences of Sin;
“For the wages of sin is death, “-{Rom 6:23}; “The person who sins will die “-{Ezekiel 18:20}. Sin pays wages. Like a job pays wages…so sin pays… death. eternal separation from God…”when the Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire, dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,“– {2 Thess 1:7-9}; Away from His presence in eternal destruction!
“In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.”-{Jude 7}, “…They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever.”-{Jude 13}; ” And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. . . . Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.“-{Rev 20:10,14-15}. “…“… I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life…””- {Deut 30:19}
THE GOOD NEWS?
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. “-{Romans 5:8}
” For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. “-{Col 1:13-14}
“…but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”-{Rom 6:23}. “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. “-{1 John 5:13}
2. – The Power of satan;
“By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother. “-{1 John 3:10}. Note two families, “God and of the devil.” All are created by God but not all children of God. “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”-{John 8:44}. “And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. “- {Eph 2;1-2}.” escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.“- {2 Tim 2:26}
THE GOOD NEWS?
“But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. “-{John 1:12-13}. “He who has the Son has the life; He who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. “- {1 John 5:12}.
“He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,”- {Titus 3:5}. “In the days of His flesh, He offered up both prayers and supplications with loud crying and tears to the One able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His piety.”- {Heb 5:7}; “Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”- {Heb 7:25}.
3. – The Wrath of God;
“The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.“-{Romans 1:18-21}…”… Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.”-{Eph 2:3}.”They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?”-{Rev 6:16-17}
Wrath is used to speak of righteous anger, not human such as flying off the handle or suppressing evil hostility within, but an anger, dissatisfaction that is just, pure, without sin and right by God against sin!
THE GOOD NEWS?
“But God…Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.”– {Rom 5:9}
” She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” -{Matt 1:21}

“For this reason He is the Mediator of a new covenant, so that, since a death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. “- {Heb 9;15}
” This is the promise which He Himself made to us: eternal life. “-{1 John 2:25}
“In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; ” -{Jude 1;2}
“ All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out.“-{John 6:37}.
“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him. “-{John 3;17}
“ Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” – {John 11:25-26}. Physical death, yes! Eternal life!
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.“-{Ephesians 2:8-9}.
“for,Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” – {Rom 10:10}.
THE SCRIPTURES THE SOURCE;
“…and that from childhood you have known the Sacred Writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”- {2 Tim 3;15}.
“So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the Word of Christ.” – {Rom 10:17;}.
There is Promise of Salvation, Through The Person, The LORD Jesus Christ who does save, rescue, deliver, protect and preserve our soul and all who turn to God in true repentance and place their faith in The LORD Jesus will be saved from the penalty of sin, the power of satan and the wrath of God!
Good News- Jesus SAVES-
“And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”-{Acts 4:12}; He is not one of many ways but He alone is EXCLUSIVE, -“I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”- {John 14:6}. Not “a” way, “a” truth,”a” life but “THE…THE THE’ Exclusive! He is THE WAY THE TRUTH THE LIFE… and the Promise? “.. No one comes to the Father… But THROUGH ME!” You can come.. through Him and receive from Him newness of life, spiritual life, and a new family, transferred from the family of the devil into the family of God, to know Him, adopted, accepted, loved, and secure in Christ for all eternity and to be with Him{Read John 17:24 of His desire!}

“If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” -{John 8:31-32}. “It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.”-{Gal 5:1}.
“Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.“- {Romans 8:1-2}
Consider some truths to Celebrate Him over…
Freedom through the LORD Jesus Christ –“Whom the Son sets Free, is Free indeed!” -{John 8:36} ”
Free through the Word of Christ -“If you continue in My Word, you are truly disciples of Mine, and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free… -{John 8:31-32, 34-36}
Free from slavery to sin, – “Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son does remain forever. So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. ”-{John 8:34,36}
Free from spiritual death,– “…through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. “-{Rom 6:22 }
Free from condemnation.- “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. ” {Rom 8:1-2}.
Free to know Him who is TRUE- “We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. “ –{1 John 5:20}
Freedom To Confidently Approach God.”In Him and through faith in Him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. “- {Eph 3;12}
Free to Serve God.- ” Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves. ” -{1 Peter 2:16}.
Free With a New Power To Do As We Ought- ” Now the LORD is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the LORD is, there is Freedom.”-{2 Cor 3:17}. Freedom, standing in direct opposition to spiritual slavery, bondage! Liberty!
Free to live A New life.– “…Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.…knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; for he who has died is freed from sin. Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,…”-{Rom 6:2-8}…”But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness,…But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved ” {Rom 6:22; Eph 2:4-5}
Free to Lovingly serve others. -“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh ; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” – {Gal 5:13-15}.
Free to be Content –“Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”-{Heb 13:5}
Free…for eternal life. – But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. “- {Rom 6:22-23}
Freed through Jesus Christ -“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. “-{Gal 5:1}
Freedom’s Message came through Jesus Christ. His Message of Freedom to those in spiritual bondage.- “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovery of sight to the blind, To set free those who are oppressed,“- {Luke 4:18}.
FREE TO
Freed From … FREE TO…Love God and Others…” You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” -{Gal 5:13}.
