THE “TRUTH IS…”
Often one great ENEMY to our praying continually is giving way to how we “FEEL.” Allowing FEELINGS dictate to us rather than Truth. FEELINGS -FOCUS on what I “feel…think…” as though “feelings” are the ultimate authority to gauge life through-When …it is to be TRUTH ;
“TRUTH IS…”
God listens to you- {Psalm 34:6}. God sees, hears, is Attentive , rewards you-
* “But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”- {Matt 6:6}. “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, …”- {1 Peter 3:12}
“TRUTH IS…”
Your KING is on His Throne. A Throne of Grace, Kindness, Favor, and blessing. He bids you and me to come to Him who is seated there in whom, “nothing is to difficult” to do… and wants for us to come expectant…come to RECEIVE…
“TRUTH IS…”
“Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace WITH CONFIDENCE. SO THAT we may RECEIVE Mercy and FIND Grace to HELP US in Our TIME of NEED.”- {Heb 4:14-16}
“TRUTH IS…”-
God is greater and more stable than our feelings- He is faithful, reliable, trustworthy , when our feelings can change so, so, easily. Feelings are a poor foundation to build our faith upon. Truth is- God is, His Word is reliable and trustworthy
“TRUTH IS…”
You have reason for hope and a solid foundation in that you have…HIM-who is faithful,… and You have precious and magnificent promises to encourage you.-{ 1 Cor 1:9; 2 Pet 1:3-4}
“TRUTH IS…”
“And this is the confidence that we have before Him: If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we already possess what we have asked of Him.“- {1 John 5:14-15}
“TRUTH IS…”
“For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.” –{2 Cor 1:20}
“TRUTH IS…” –
“The law of the LORD is PERFECT {FLAWLESS} , restoring the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true; they are righteous altogether. They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb.”- {Psalm 19:7-10}.
“TRUTH IS…”-
God’s Word is truth, and unchanging and effective . “Sanctify them in the truth; Your Word is TRUTH…Your word, LORD, is eternal; “ – {John 17:17;Psalm 119:89}.
THE …”TRUTH IS…”
We really have no reason – NOT- to “PRAY ON…” do we? 🙂
Be encouraged and …PRAY ON.
