Love Is Not A Commentator, Spectator But A Participator…! One Choice At A Time!
Love ASSURES –
“Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails” (1 Cor. 13:4-8a)
Love RESTORES –
“For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote to you with many tears; not so that you would be made sorrowful, but that you might know the love which I have especially for you. But if any has caused sorrow, he has caused sorrow not to me, but in some degree—in order not to say too much—to all of you. Sufficient for such a one is this punishment which was inflicted by the majority, so that on the contrary you should rather forgive and comfort him, otherwise such a one might be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. Wherefore I urge you to REAFFIRM your love for him.”-{2 Cor 2:4-8}
Love MATURES -.
” And I pray this, that your love may abound even more and more in knowledge and every kind of insight so that you can decide what is best, and so be sincere and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God.”-{Phil 1:9-11}
In Every Attitude and Action, It is Either…Love In Action Or Love Missing In Action!
The Holy Spirit Indwelling and in Control Empowers The Follower of Christ To Express Love – The FRUIT of the SPIRIT…IS…LOVE…” -“But the fruit of the Spirit IS LOVE joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. ” -{Gal 5:22}
The Follower Of Christ Has The Power To Love, and now each circumstance and person is the opportunity to PRACTICE Love, by laying down rights, preferences, to prefer the other person for their good, spiritual benefit and God’s Glory and honor! One choice at a time!
Love is to deny oneself in order to sacrificially, unconditionally prefer another seeking or demanding or expecting nothing in return only their highest good for Jesus SAKE! -{ Read 2 Cor 4:5}
