THE LIFE OF FAITH IS LIVING FOR THE PLEASURE OF GOD!
Faith’s movement …Consider the testimony concerning Abraham. “Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what He had promised.”- {Rom 4:19-21}.
Note the Movement of Faith from Abraham’s life in the verses above ..

THE FRUIT OF FAITH IN HIM…PRODUCES…
1.- Faith That Grows In Strength-
2.- Faith That Glorifies – God
3.- Faith That Believes – in the Promises of God, His Power to accomplish His goals. – ” being fully persuaded.”
4.- Faith’s Testimony – Is to GOD!
The MEANS?
When you choose to exercise faith in Him and His Word faith in Him is exercised, strengthened ” faith comes by hearing the Word of God … I know WHOM I have believed and am persuaded He is able to Keep what I have entrusted to Him..,” the Word of God, the Spirit of God the teaching, strengthening and pointing to Christ within you. And the choices you make to entrust yourself to Him.”We walk by faith not by sight.” -{2 Cor 5:7}
WHY IS FAITH SO IMPORTANT?
Because ” Without faith it is IMPOSSIBLE to please Him…”{Heb 11:6}. Hebrews 11 records the lives of those whom He says ” ALL THESE GAINED APPROVAL THROUGH THEIR FAITH.”{v39}. All had different experiences,including sin, failures along the way, but that did not as it does not define you, for God does not give up on us. BUT He was at work and along the way they were makings better choices.The choice to believe, trust and obey Him. Abraham didn’t get there overnight- {Read Gen chapters 12-22}. But he did!… to the place of faith increasing in Him…and “The Fruit Of Faith,” from his life will too be yours, increasingly as your …

Keep looking to Him-, keep choosing Scriptural thoughts, one choice at a time, doing the next thing, the right thing in His sight, before you. Do it with the right motive, based on His Word.{Read Phil 4:8-9 Think and Practice}. Don’t focus on the failures. Learn from them. Get up and walk on, by choosing Faith in a faithful Savior! Failure is not final for the believer it is covered with His precious powerful blood and we begin afresh. It does not mean there are not consequences, but there is power to get up and go on, continuing in your journey with Him, whose love is unwavering towards you. He is always for you. No condemnation for you “In Christ”- No separation, Isolation, for you from His love FOR YOU! – { Read Rom 8:31-39; Heb 13:5}
Faith’s movement is not to be motivated by a selfish end, it does not mean we get what we “want ” but it does mean we get what He wants – a life of faith in Him that is pleasing to Him! –(Read Heb 11:6,).
THE LIFE OF FAITH IS A LIFE LIVING FOR HIS PLEASURE,-{ in whatever the circumstances you find yourself in!}
ASSIGNMENT- Read Heb 11 and if you write down Heb 11:39 as your heading and then begin the chapter and stop and note who and how they gained a testimony, commended and approved for their faith exercised. “All of these gained approval… and PLEASED GOD {V 39, 6}. Underline the word “faith” and His Seal of approval in v 6 and v 39
THE LIFE OF FAITH IS CHOOSING TO LIVE ON HIS TERMS FOR HIS PLEASURE.ONE THOUGHT IN ALIGNMENT WITH HIS WORD AND LIVING ONE CHOICE AT A TIME.
TODAY, your life is an opportunity to live pleasing Him, not for acceptance but appreciation to Him who laid down His life for you, took it up again and imparted newness of life to you that you should no longer live for yourself but for Him…”He died for everyone so that those who receive His new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them.”-{2 Cor 5:15 NLT} “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.For God is working IN YOU, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.”-{Phil 2:13-NLT}, God is at work IN YOU giving you the desire and the ability to live by faith for His pleasure. You are not on your own, Live out what He is working in you!
THE FOCUS OF FAITH – THE LORD. THE FRUIT OF FAITH – IS MANIFESTED. THE RESULT- LIVING FOR THE PLEASURE OF GOD.
