“When Mary reached the place where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.  When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, He was deeply moved in spirit and troubled.

“Where have you laid him?” He asked. “Come and see, Lord,” they replied.

Jesus wept.

Then the Jews said, “See how He loved him!”

You have heard it say “real men, don’t cry,” To somehow shed tears, is seen as a sign of weakness, and makes one vulnerable as weakly, “But God…” while sinful men in their foolishness, and hardness of heart and PRIDE, do not want to be seen as week, due to the fear of what others may think of them, God shows us through his Perfect Son, that Real Men cry. Because as the passage shows, Real Men “LOVE!”

Jesus wept with compassion for the heartache of others. He was neither indifferent nor callous to their pain, He was drawn towards the hurting ones with a heart of compassion. He loved! God was glorified THROUGH their Sufferings. This DOES NOT mean one has to suffer for God to be glorified BUT IT DOES MEAN, GOD can use even suffering to bring glory from it to Himself. Your sufferings are NOT pointless in the hands of Jesus!

Real Men Are Not Ashamed to Cry, Because Real Men Love.
