Faith’s motivation is not a religion which is overbearing, graceless, hopeless, heavy-laden and burdensome, compared to Christ and the Motivation for His follower which is- Faith in a Person, which is known by rest of heart and mind in- THE LOVE OF CHRIST. “HE loved me…”{Gal 2:20}. “He {continuously} loves me…” {Rev 1:5}. It was a PERSON, not an organization, religion, idea, who hung on the cross for my sins, as my Sin Bearer, my stand in, my Substitute to take my punishment, so He died that I may not die in my sin. Faith in a PERSON- is the ANCHOR. The love shown by that Person, the Lord Jesus is what Paul kept before him, and never got over it. The Love of Jesus Christ, was Paul’s motivation to live moment by moment relating,relying and resting in a PERSON who loved him and gave Himself up for him. “… And the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.”- {Galatians 2:20}. Paul never got over that the LORD Jesus loved him. It motivated him to trust Him. We can trust the One who loves us and has proven it! There is rest to be found in Him who has demonstrated His love for us on the cross. Rest in His love for you!

Faith has an anchor for the soul. His Name is Jesus! Let the Love of Christ and what HE DID for you, be your MOTIVATION in the choices you make today.
Contemplate His Coming, His Cross, His Cost to express love to and for you. Celebrate Jesus and place your confidence in Him who loved you and gave Himself up for you!
