“Ah, Sovereign LORD, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for You.” -Jeremiah 32:17
Ch Spurgeon said, “If we would venture more upon the naked promise of God, we should enter a world of wonders to which as yet we are strangers. Let Jeremiah’s place of confidence be ours-nothing is too hard for the God that created the heavens and the earth.”
God had commanded Jeremiah to do something which at the time would seem madness to the “world” around him who would walk by sight and not by faith in a Faithful God. Jeremiah obeyed and the verse above is His testimony to Worship and CONFIDENCE in the One who had commanded and who is “able” to do as He pleases in whom… NOTHING IS TOO DIFFICULT OR HARD FOR HIM. {Psalm 135:6}.
Often the “problem” is not the problem but reveals the “problem” which is us! Often our refusal to trust God and take Him at His Word…the “problem” affords us opportunity to exercise faith in Him! “NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR YOU… SOVEREIGN LORD who made the heavens and the earth by YOUR Great Power and out stretched hand…” Focus on His Character, Sovereign King, all things in subjection to Him, Creator God, effortlessly speaking the world into existence and upholding it all by the power of His Word. Great unlimited power! As conclusion to the revelation and contemplation of who He is, comes his statement of faith,“Nothing is too difficult for You.” Confident faith anchored in His Great Powerful character!
Look at your problem {quickly} look away to Him{steadfastly} and consider is the “problem” outside or too big for His “…nothing is too difficult for YOU…Sovereign Lord!” Meditate on Him. Commit the situation to Him. Commit this verse to memory,so the LORD can use it to remind you to trust Him.Pray it, share it, Celebrate Him!, “SOVEREIGN LORD,” whose CREATIVE POWER is unlimited
