And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” –{Matt 28;28-20}

As you go throughout your day, there are some truths you need to know, and this requires you to think on truth, for example…

1.-Think on – His Person,Jesus- Resurrected, Sovereign LORD. Conqueror of sin, satan, the grave. Not a bad resume! Be thinking on Him and what He says.

2.- Think on – His Power –  “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth”- {v 18}. There is no power equal or greater than His, irrespective of the location or its occupants. There is nothing or no one NOT under His authority. He has authority to do as He pleases when He pleases, how He pleases. We do not serve One who is deficient or has but a certain amount of authority in designated areas of this earth or universe only. But “all authority” has been given to Him. No one or nothing is outside of that authority! Nebuchanezzer would find this out, when he took credit for what he had and ended like a beast eating grass, before coming to his senses he realized who was the Sovereign King, who had all the authority!

3. – Think on – His Perspective for you “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you;” -{v19}.

In the problems the disciples would encounter, they can recall His Person, His Power, His perspective for them is to go and as they are going making disciples. How should they do this? Teaching them all He had commanded them. By being familiar with Him, His Word, they pass it on. Their curriculum is set, it is not politics, but His Word for people. Their souls the chief end of daily living, for Jesus sake!

4. – Think on – His Presence. “…I Am I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” -{v 20}.

When they would encounter tough times, they could recall His promise of His presence to be with them as they go in their daily doings, He is always present with them. It is not a matter of feelings but of His faithfulness. He who arose from the grave triumphant has assured them as HE Does you! “I Am With You Always.”

As you go, wherever you go, “making” disciples is the key verb in the passage. The emphasis is not on the “go,”but is – as you are going – what to do where you are, “Be Making” disciples. He tells us how to do this, through His Word. So we know His will for us, and we know how to do this, by teaching His WORD, WHAT WE KNOW, sharing it, live seeking to make disciples as you go, wherever you find yourself in this world.

As you go daily…Know His Person, Power, Presence, Perspective for you… now off you go and as you are going, be “making” disciples!
